Joanne L. Gore was recognized as Outstanding Parent Volunteer in Texas by The Partners in Education in 2003. Also recognized by the Houston Aeros as Fort Bend Women of the Year Nominee, School Volunteer category and also honored by the Houston CPA Society as Outstanding School Volunteer in 2003.

Joanne has held small group sessions concerning eldercare issues for the Fort Bent ISD Community Conferences in 2003 and 2004. She served on the Bond Advisory Board for 2007 for Fort Bend ISD. Joanne is currently a member of the Quail Valley Proud Education Committee and the Fort Bend ISD Mentoring Advisory Board.
Recognized by the Professional Women's Network of Houston as the Women of Excellence recipient for 2015. This award will be recognized at the annual gala hosted by the Federation of Houston Professional Women in September 2015.
